Groundskeeper — Gwer West

Vacancy available: we are hiring a groundskeeper in Gwer West, Benue State. The job is on a golf course. You will spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades. Ideal candidate: • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
