Fusing press operator — Gamawa

Join our team: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Gamawa, Bauchi State. You will work at a garment factory. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Your main tasks: • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Give each garment a final press before packing Part-time with flexible hours.
