Toolroom milling operator — Meriwether County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Meriwether County, Georgia. The job is at a busy machine shop. Day to day you will keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing. Requirements: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges Six days a week, one day off.
