We are recruiting: we are hiring a butcher in Bryan County, Georgia. You will be based at a halal meat counter. Ideal candidate: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • 2+ years experience working as a butcher Your main tasks: • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Season and marinate meat on request • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
