Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Isiala Mbano, Imo State. You will be based at an automotive body and exhaust shop. Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols The role involves sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run. ₦210,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
