Protective coatings painter wanted in Mason County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a protective coatings painter in Mason County, Texas. You will be based in a paint and spray workshop. On the job you will handle: • Mask off windows, skirting and fittings with tape and sheeting • Prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer • Sand and fill walls before applying primer • Apply primer, undercoat and two topcoats with brush and roller • Measure up and work out paint and material quantities • Fill cracks and nail holes with filler and caulk the gaps Requirements: • Sound knowledge of surface prep and the right primers • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolding • Physically fit for standing, bending and reaching all day $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
