Now hiring: port container crane operator (Kentucky)

Join our team: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Henry County, Kentucky. You will be based on a busy construction site. Your main tasks: • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) What we are looking for: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
