Immediate opening: crawler crane operator (Texas)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Denton County, Texas. The job is at a container port and shipping yard. Ideal candidate: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) On the job you will handle: • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
