What we are looking for: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases The role involves: • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
