Great opportunity: we are hiring a carpenter in Luton, England. The job is in a cabinet-making workshop. Day to day you will assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops; fix studwork and plasterboard partitions; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain. Ideal candidate: • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings Rotating shifts. £1,750 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
