Urgent requirement: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Scott County, Indiana. You will be based in a supermarket meat department. Day to day you will sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Meals and transport allowance provided.
