Join our team: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Boulder County, Colorado. The job is in a busy laundry. You will set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep Pay around $3,400 per month, based on your experience.
