Immediate opening: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Riyom, Plateau State. You will be based on a high-rise tower crane. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • A good head for heights for tower crane work The role involves: • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
