Gantry crane operator • Lee County, Florida

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Lee County, Florida. You will be based on a bridge and infrastructure project. On the job you will handle: • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block Ideal candidate: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
