Vacancy available: we are hiring a milling machine operator in Eket, Akwa Ibom State. The job is at a fabrication and machining plant. On the job you will handle: • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters Ideal candidate: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade Six days a week, one day off. ₦195,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
