Urgent requirement: we are hiring a banksman in Bindawa, Katsina State. Requirements: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Your main tasks: • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
