Now hiring: we are hiring a presser in Reno County, Kansas. You will work at a dry cleaner's. You should have: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory The role involves spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; give each garment a final press before packing; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments.
