Lathe operator — Gada

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lathe operator in Gada, Sokoto State. You will be based in a textile mill. Ideal candidate: • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Your main tasks: • Top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Set up and start the machine as per the job card At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
