Tower crane operator • Obi, Benue State

Join our team: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Obi, Benue State. You will be based on a busy construction site. You should have: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging Day-to-day duties: • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
