Great opportunity: we are hiring a hand presser in Dudley, England. The job is in a busy laundry. Your main tasks: • Give each garment a final press before packing • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents Ideal candidate: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings Pay around £1,900 per month, based on your experience.
