Plant operator — Edwards County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a plant operator in Edwards County, Illinois. You will work in an open-cast quarry. What we are looking for: • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat On the job you will handle: • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds Six days a week, one day off.
