Excavator operator — Volusia County

Now hiring: we are hiring an excavator operator in Volusia County, Florida. You will work on a pipeline and trenching crew. The role involves work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage; work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter; strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds. What we are looking for: • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence Full-time, day shift.
