Vacancy available: fettler (Sokoto State)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fettler in Gada, Sokoto State. You will be based on the moulding line. Day to day you will tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes. You should have: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
