You should have: • Good knowledge of the menu, ingredients and beverages • Clear spoken communication and a polite, friendly manner • Prior experience as a waiter in a restaurant or hotel On the job you will handle: • Follow food hygiene and allergen-handling rules • Carry loaded trays and serve plated dishes to the right table • Pour water, wine and soft drinks and serve from the guest's left • Punch orders through to the kitchen as a KOT (kitchen order ticket) • Lay table covers with cutlery, napkins, glassware and crockery • Clear and reset tables between covers 2+ years on the tools preferred.
