Stamping press operator wanted in Logan County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Logan County, Illinois. You will be based in a sheet metal stamping unit. Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Day-to-day duties: • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor Rotating shifts.
