Immediate opening: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Jorhat, Assam. You will work at a road and highway construction project. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances On a typical shift you will dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage; work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter; backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers.
