Vacancy available: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Warren County, Ohio. You will work in an open-cast quarry. Requirements: • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat The role involves lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse; work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
