Now hiring: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Ward County, Texas. The job is at a brass and bronze foundry. Ideal candidate: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal Day to day you will skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
