Sheet metal welder — Mikang

Now hiring: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Mikang, Plateau State. You will work at a busy fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage On a typical shift you will TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
