Urgent requirement: hoist operator (England)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a hoist operator in Slough, England. The job is on a high-rise tower crane. Requirements: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts On the job you will handle: • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
