Vacancy available: we are hiring an oven operator in Coos County, Oregon. You will be based in a bread factory. On a typical shift you will pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity. Requirements: • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving $240 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
