Landscape gardener — Sumaila

Great opportunity: we are hiring a landscape gardener in Sumaila, Kano State. You will be based at a private estate garden. Requirements: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers On a typical shift you will prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs; repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn.
