Earthmoving equipment operator wanted in Cherokee County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in Cherokee County, Georgia. You will be based on a busy civils and groundworks site. The role involves: • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up Requirements: • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site 4+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. $23 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
