Turning centre operator wanted in Major County

Now hiring: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Major County, Oklahoma. You will work on the CNC turning shop floor. Day-to-day duties: • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear Ideal candidate: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
