Stainless steel welder — Odeda

We are recruiting: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Odeda, Ogun State. You will be based at a busy fabrication workshop. Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Day-to-day duties: • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
