Sewing machine operator • Ezinihitte, Imo State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Ezinihitte, Imo State. You will work on an export house sewing floor. You should have: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently Your main tasks: • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
