Wood machinist — Njaba

Join our team: we are hiring a wood machinist in Njaba, Imo State. You will be based on a commercial fit-out site. The role involves: • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain Requirements: • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height 4+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
