Join our team: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator (dozer) in Gwiwa, Jigawa State. You will be based at an open-cast mine. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Refuel the machine and record running hours • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily You should have: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain Six days a week, one day off.
