Rigger — Webb County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rigger in Webb County, Texas. The job is on an offshore oil and gas platform. Day to day you will attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
