Immediate opening: we are hiring a hand presser in Somervell County, Texas. You will be based at a garment factory. Requirements: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Your main tasks: • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Give each garment a final press before packing • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
