Foundry worker — Obi

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a foundry worker in Obi, Nasarawa State. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection On a typical shift you will maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. We offer ₦470,000 per project plus benefits. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
