Join our team: we are hiring a plasterer in Pendleton County, Kentucky. You will be based at a new-build housing development. On the job you will handle: • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork Ideal candidate: • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
