Vacancy available: hydraulic press operator (Washington)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a hydraulic press operator in Yakima County, Washington. You will be based at an auto components factory. You will check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards 3+ years on the tools preferred.
