Ceiling and wall plasterer • Falls County, Texas

Vacancy available: we are hiring a ceiling and wall plasterer in Falls County, Texas. Day-to-day duties: • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Check walls for plumb and level as you go • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster What we are looking for: • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
