Retail butcher wanted in Payne County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a retail butcher in Payne County, Oklahoma. The job is in a hotel or restaurant butchery. What we are looking for: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter The role involves portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
