Pipe TIG welder wanted in Jackson County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Jackson County, Oregon. You will be based in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Able to pass a weld test on the spot Day to day you will back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. We offer $5,400 per month plus benefits. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
