Canteen cook — Dunklin County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a canteen cook in Dunklin County, Missouri. Day-to-day duties: • Follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency • Prepare the mise en place before each service • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch • Manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down Requirements: • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
