Ideal candidate: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Your main tasks: • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller Full-time with occasional weekends.
