Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses On the job you will handle: • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
