Commis chef — Frio County

Join our team: we are hiring a commis chef in Frio County, Texas. The role involves prepare the mise en place before each service; plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch; follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards • Strong knife skills and speed on the line At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
